Borrowing

As a new library user, you will be given to fill out to confirm your commitment to the library rules. We also need to verify your identity.

The loan period is 28 days. We only lend course textbooks to prison and probation services students, with loan periods ranging from 14 to 120 days. A loan can be renewed at the end of the loan period if there are no reservations.

The loan period of the Ellibs electronic library (Ellibslibrary.com) is 14 days. Please ask the staff for a username and password for the library.

Some materials, such as journals and publications reserved for official use, are not available for loan.

Publications, journals, e-books and other material available for loan can be found with our material search function (Kalteri.verkkokirjasto.fi).

Interlibrary service

We only arrange interlibrary loans to prison and probation service professionals for official use.We do send interlibrary loans and copies to other libraries from our collection, so you can ask to have the book you want delivered to your local library. We follow general interlibrary loan guidelines.The prices of interlibrary loans are indicated in our service price list .
